Xiaomi is gearing up for a major launch event in China on April 21, 2026, where it plans to unveil a gaming smartphone, a compact tablet inspired by the iPad mini, an affordable tablet, and a new line of laptops. Ahead of the event, fresh details about the gaming phone, Redmi K90 Max, have surfaced.
The company has officially confirmed that the Redmi K90 Max will be powered by the flagship MediaTek Dimensity 9500 processor, paired with a separate D2 graphics chip. Xiaomi claims this combination, alongside an active cooling system, will deliver a ”top-tier gaming experience.”
A teaser from Xiaomi highlights the phone’s ability to maintain a steady 144fps in the popular mobile game Honor of Kings while keeping device temperatures below 37°C. The Redmi K90 Max’s display also includes a suite of gaming-focused features to enhance comfort during extended play sessions.
