Huawei’s Enjoy 90 family looks set to get bigger and heavier, with two more models now cleared for network access in China. The Huawei Enjoy 90 line may add two phones with 6100 mAh and 8500 mAh batteries, which is the sort of spec sheet that makes smaller power banks nervous and suggests Huawei is still leaning hard on battery life as a selling point.

The two devices carry the model numbers CHZ-AL60 and CAS-AL50, and they are reported to belong to the Enjoy 90 series. Their expected pricing lands in the 1,000 to 2,000 yuan range, or about $150 to $300, putting them firmly in Huawei’s volume-friendly midrange lane rather than the premium end of the pool.

Enjoy 90 series additions are already approved

The approval comes from China’s Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, which confirmed the phones can connect to the network. That kind of certification does not guarantee an immediate launch, but it usually means the hardware is past the early rumor stage and heading toward release.

Huawei has already shown that the formula works. The Enjoy 90 Plus and Enjoy 90 Pro Max arrived a few months ago as the first two large-battery models in the line, and the company reportedly moved more than 250,000 units on the first day of sales. In a market where many rivals still chase thinner bodies and faster charging headlines, Huawei seems happy to sell stamina first.

Battery size stays the main selling point

  • Model numbers: CHZ-AL60 and CAS-AL50
  • Battery capacities: 6100 mAh and 8500 mAh
  • Expected price: 1,000 to 2,000 yuan
  • Approximate price in dollars: $150 to $300

If those figures hold, Huawei is widening the Enjoy 90 lineup with two more devices aimed at buyers who care more about endurance than flagship polish. That should keep the series competitive against other budget and midrange phones, especially as battery capacity becomes one of the few specs where brands can still make an easy, understandable pitch.

The open question is whether Huawei can turn another big-battery pair into the same kind of fast-moving hit. The first-day sales figure says demand is there; the next test is whether the company can keep the price low enough to make 8500 mAh sound irresistible instead of excessive.
