Belkin packs a light into this 10,000mAh power bank

Belkin is trying to make a crowded product category a little more interesting. Its new BoostCharge Pro Power Bank 10K combines a 10,000mAh battery with a pop-out LED light that can work as a night light, a fill light for photos or video calls, or a flashing SOS signal.
The LED includes a motion sensor and brightness controls, making the bedside use case fairly obvious, especially for travel. TechRadar notes that the flashing mode could also be useful outdoors when you need to attract attention.
Beyond the light, the accessory looks solid on standard power-bank specs. It has a built-in braided USB-C cable plus a USB-C port, so it can charge two devices at once. Total output reaches 45W; when two devices are connected, the primary device gets 30W and the second gets 15W.
A small circular display shows the remaining battery percentage and also includes controls for the LED light. The device measures 118 x 60 x 32mm and weighs 257g, suggesting the added lighting hardware does not add much bulk.

For now, there’s a catch: it’s only available in China. JD.com lists it at 329 yuan — roughly $50 / £35 / AU$70. Given Belkin’s global footprint, a wider release seems possible, but nothing beyond China has been announced.
