Samsung’s next Galaxy Unpacked event is set for Wednesday, July 22, with the company expected to launch new foldables and wearables — and possibly a few unexpected products.

According to ZDNET, Samsung will hold the event in London at 6 p.m. ET, where it is expected to announce the Galaxy Z Fold 8, Galaxy Z Flip 8, Galaxy Watch Ultra 2, and Galaxy Watch 9. The report also points to several possible surprise reveals, including a wider version of the Galaxy Z Fold 8, Galaxy XR Glasses, and a second-generation Galaxy Ring.

A redesigned foldable appears to be one of the stronger possibilities. Samsung recently teased a new foldable with a “brand new shape,” and ZDNET says that lines up with rumors of a wider Galaxy Z Fold 8. Those reports suggest a 5,000 mAh battery, a dual-camera setup, and a more tablet-like aspect ratio.

Galaxy Z Flip 8 leak points to minor upgrades

On the wearable side, Samsung is reportedly preparing two new watches, but not a Classic model this year. ZDNET says the Galaxy Watch 9 may get routine upgrades such as a new processor and a larger battery, while the Galaxy Watch Ultra 2 is also expected to debut.

The less certain products are the ones that could draw the most attention. Hon Pak, Samsung’s Senior Vice President and Head of the Digital Health Team, has confirmed that a Galaxy Ring 2 is in development, though ZDNET notes there is little indication it will arrive next week. The outlet says an early 2027 launch, possibly at CES in Las Vegas, may be more likely if it misses Unpacked.

Galaxy Glasses could be another wildcard. In February, Samsung mobile executive vice president Jay Kim said the Galaxy XR Glasses would launch later this year. ZDNET reports that the glasses are expected to include an eye-level camera and connect with the broader Galaxy ecosystem, rather than operate as a standalone device.

Samsung says viewers can watch the keynote on July 22 at 9 a.m. ET on Samsung.com, Samsung Newsroom, and Samsung’s YouTube channel. Ahead of the event, the company is offering a $30 reservation credit for preorders, plus trade-in discounts of up to $1,200 on a new Galaxy device.
