Yandex launches AI assistant for apartment residents
Yandex’s Domilend has launched an AI assistant for residents of Samolyot Group housing complexes in Moscow and St. Petersburg.

Domilend, part of Yandex’s PropTech division, has introduced an AI assistant for apartment-building residents. The service handles everyday housing-related requests through a natural-language chat, removing the need to search through app menus, call support, or send email. It is available in the Domilend+ app and popular messaging platforms.
Residents can use the assistant to:
- Submit utility-meter readings
- File requests with their management company
- Order visitor passes
- Find information published by the management company
The system accepts text, voice messages, and photos. It can read meter data from images and automatically create a service request when a resident reports a fault, such as a broken elevator.

The solution is built on Yandex AI Studio’s large language models. It uses context when processing requests, including comparing current meter readings with previous figures and warning about possible errors when consumption changes sharply. The assistant can also analyze data, search management-company messages, and handle multi-step requests.
The first users are residents of Samolyot Group housing complexes in Moscow and St. Petersburg. Yandex plans to expand the service with additional interaction scenarios, including support for chats with Alice AI.
