Yandex AI now finds stations with the right fuel
Yandex’s AI search finds nearby gas stations with the requested fuel, showing availability, distance, and current congestion in one response.

Yandex has launched an AI-powered search tool that instantly finds nearby gas stations with a specific type of fuel. The feature is available in the Yandex Maps chat and in chats with Alice AI.
Users can make requests in natural language, such as “Where can I refuel with AI-95 nearby?” The service returns nearby stations along with:
- Distance to each station
- Availability of the requested fuel
- Current station congestion

Fuel availability and station conditions were already shown in Yandex Maps, Yandex Refueling, and Yandex Go. Previously, however, users had to open individual station cards to compare options. The new AI search consolidates the relevant information in a single response.

Requests can be entered by text in the Yandex Maps chat. In the Alice AI chat, users can also ask by voice.
Yandex says station data is generated automatically from anonymized information gathered from several sources, including fuel orders through Yandex Refueling and Yandex Go, reports from drivers using the Pro app, traffic conditions near stations, and answers from Yandex Maps users who take short surveys after visiting or passing a gas station.
