OnePlus has officially announced that it will stop operating in the US and Europe, confirming it will “end the launch of new products in Europe and North America.” In practice, that means the company is withdrawing from those regions.

“Today, our hearts are undoubtedly full of sorrow and mixed emotions. As part of an active global strategy, OnePlus has decided to conclude the launch of new products in Europe and North America.”

A notice has appeared in the OnePlus store informing customers about the change, while products including the OnePlus 15 are still available to buy. According to the report, those devices are expected to sell out and will not be restocked as the store shifts its operations.

In Europe, Oppo will replace OnePlus. In the US, there is no replacement for now. As a result, Oppo is effectively leaving the US market as well.

For India, OnePlus says the country remains “one of the most important markets for OnePlus” and that support there is “unwavering.” But the report says reliable sources dispute that claim, saying OnePlus plans to wind down its operations in India early next year.

OnePlus pushed back on that reporting, saying “our actions speak louder than speculation” and pointing to its recent and upcoming product launches in India.
