RTX 50 and Ryzen 5 lead Russia’s custom PC orders
M.Video’s first custom PC orders in Russia favor GeForce RTX 50 GPUs, Ryzen 5 and Core i5 processors, 1TB NVMe drives, and DDR4 memory.

NVIDIA GeForce RTX 50-series graphics cards, mid-range processors, and NVMe drives with at least 1 TB are the most common choices in Russia’s first custom-built PC orders through M.Video.
The retailer analyzed orders for its professional PC assembly service, launched in June 2026, to identify the components most frequently selected by customers. Half of all orders came from Moscow, while Krasnodar and Novosibirsk each accounted for 20%. Specialists also completed the first builds in Yekaterinburg and St. Petersburg.
Among motherboards, Gigabyte models based on the B550 and B760 chipsets led demand, alongside the MSI A520M PRO. Customers were almost evenly split between AMD and Intel processors. The most popular options were AMD Ryzen 5 and Intel Core i5, which M.Video identifies as offering a strong balance between price and performance.

For more powerful gaming systems, buyers more often paired AMD Ryzen 7 processors with NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5070 graphics cards. However, the most requested GPU across the initial orders was the GeForce RTX 5050.
Although DDR5 memory is becoming more widespread, most customers still choose DDR4, primarily because it costs less. Kingston and Patriot were the leading memory brands, while 16 GB was the most popular capacity, typically with room to expand to 32 GB or 64 GB later.
