Dell launches three Alienware gaming laptops in India
Dell has launched three Alienware gaming laptops in India, with Core Ultra 9 processors, RTX 50 graphics, OLED displays, and prices up to 397,960 rupees.

Dell has launched three new Alienware gaming laptops in India: the 16X Aurora, 16 Area-51, and 18 Area-51. The lineup spans a relatively portable 16-inch model and an 18-inch desktop replacement equipped with an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5090 Laptop GPU.
All three systems use the Intel Core Ultra 9 290HX Plus. Higher-end configurations add GeForce RTX 50-series graphics, positioning the machines against updated flagship laptops from Asus, MSI, and Lenovo.
Alienware 16X Aurora specifications
The Alienware 16X Aurora is the most balanced model in the range. It features a 16-inch WQXGA OLED display with an anti-glare coating, a 240Hz refresh rate, and a 0.2ms response time. Dell also lists HDR True Black 500 certification and peak brightness of up to 620 nits in HDR mode.
Configurations pair the Core Ultra 9 290HX Plus with up to an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5070 Ti Laptop GPU. Dell has upgraded its Cryo-Chamber cooling system, while F7 Stealth Mode reduces fan noise and switches the keyboard backlight to white for quieter use outside gaming.
The display covers 120% of the DCI-P3 color space, according to Dell. That makes it suited not only to gaming, but also to video editing and graphics work.

Alienware Area-51 models
The Alienware 16 Area-51 moves closer to the top of the range. It retains a 16-inch WQXGA OLED panel with a 240Hz refresh rate and 0.2ms response time, but its maximum configuration includes an RTX 5090 Laptop GPU, 64GB of DDR5 memory, and a 2TB SSD.
Dell rates the system for up to 240W of Total Performance Power. Other specifications include Thunderbolt 5, Wi-Fi 7, a 96Wh battery, and an updated cooling system. In practice, Dell is presenting it as a compact alternative to a desktop gaming PC for users who still need to move the machine occasionally.
The Alienware 18 Area-51 pushes the specifications further with an 18-inch WQXGA display, a 300Hz refresh rate, and a 3ms response time. It uses the same Core Ultra 9 290HX Plus and RTX 5090 options, while total system power rises to 280W. It is the most power-hungry and powerful model in the new trio.

Pricing and availability
The laptops are already on sale through Dell’s online store and retail channels in India, including Dell Exclusive Stores, major chains, and marketplaces.
