iOS 27 introduces Call Context, an Apple Intelligence feature that puts relevant information on-screen when you’re speaking with a business. It follows last year’s Call Screening and Hold Assist additions, giving the Phone app another practical upgrade.
According to Apple, Call Context can proactively surface information from across your apps—for example, a confirmation code from Mail when you call an airline.
During testing of the iOS 27 beta, the feature automatically displayed flight details when the writer called Southwest Airlines about a booking change. The iPhone also offered to read the confirmation number aloud during the call. A second Southwest flight appeared underneath, keeping additional relevant information one tap away if the first result wasn’t the right one.
Call Context will initially support English only. It also requires an iPhone, iPad, Mac, or Apple Watch that supports Apple Intelligence.
