Samsung patches Galaxy A55 and A35 with 57 fixes

Samsung has started rolling out its July update for the Galaxy A55 and Galaxy A35, beginning in India. The package includes the latest Android security patch and several system improvements intended to make the phones more stable.
For the Galaxy A55, the firmware is identified by build numbers A556EXXSGDZG2 and A556EODMGDZG2. The Galaxy A35 is receiving the same set of numbers, with the update being distributed in stages through the standard software-update menu.
Samsung’s July security patch fixes 57 Android vulnerabilities. Regular security releases are a key part of the company’s strategy in the midrange market, where the Galaxy A55 and A35 compete with devices such as the Redmi Note, Poco and Realme 12 lines. Rivals often compete on price or specifications, while Samsung emphasizes longer software support and more consistent patches.
