Tecno is preparing a concept smartphone it describes as the world’s first device with a genuinely zero-bezel display. Insider Ice Universe has published the first images of the handset, which is scheduled to be presented at IFA 2026.
According to Ice Universe, Tecno’s developers have eliminated the visible black border between the display and the body, creating a claimed 0 mm effect.
Unlike most current smartphones, where manufacturers gradually reduce the bezel, Tecno’s concept is designed to make the boundary between the screen and the phone’s side virtually disappear. The images show only a raised central section of the body surrounding the display.
The company is presenting the design as more than a thinner bezel. It uses a different display-construction approach intended to produce a new visual effect.
