SpaceX shares Earth view from Falcon 9
SpaceX shared a 19-second view of Earth filmed from Falcon 9's second stage during a Starlink mission from Vandenberg.

SpaceX has released a 19-second video of Earth recorded by a camera mounted on the second stage of a Falcon 9 during a recent Starlink mission launched from Vandenberg. The footage shows white clouds over blue oceans, framed by the blackness of space.
The camera captured the scene after the rocket’s first stage had separated, while the second stage continued placing its payload into the assigned orbit.

SpaceX had previously published photos from a Falcon 9 launch on July 21 from SLC-40 at Cape Canaveral, Florida. That rocket successfully sent Northrop Grumman’s MRV-MEP mission into geostationary transfer orbit. The spacecraft is designed to service satellites in geostationary orbit.
The launch also marked the 32nd and final flight of the Falcon 9's first stage. SpaceX Vice President of Launch Kiko Donchev previously described the booster, Booster 1069, as an “originally shaky rocket.” It survived the replacement of all its engines before completing 31 more flights.
