Motorola starts Android 17 beta rollout
Motorola has started rolling out Android 17 Beta to three smartphones, with a 4GB update initially available in India, Brazil, and EMEA.

After several months of beta testing, Motorola has begun rolling out Android 17 Beta to three smartphones: Motorola Signature, Moto G57 Power, and Motorola Edge 70.
The firmware is approximately 4GB and is being released in stages to users in India, Brazil, and EMEA countries. Motorola plans to expand availability to more regions and compatible devices in the coming weeks.

Android 17 introduces several interface changes, including new lock-screen clock styles, redesigned notification and control panels, an updated volume mixer, and a refreshed Settings app. The update also improves system animations and redesigns the app list.
The Live Activities feature now supports phone calls, music playback, and flashlight controls. Users can check for the update under Settings > System update, although Motorola warns that the phased rollout means it may not appear immediately. More smartphones are expected to join the Android 17 Beta program over the next few days and weeks.
