iOS 27 beta 4 adds an Automatic Downloads option to the Apple TV app, giving viewers offline access to the next episodes of shows in their Continue Watching queue. The feature was spotted by Aaron Perris.

To enable it, open Settings, select Apps, choose TV, and turn on Automatic Downloads. The article’s instructions refer to iOS 27 beta 5, although the feature is reported as part of beta 4.
The setting is designed to keep upcoming episodes ready when you lose connectivity. Its usefulness will depend on how reliably the downloads work during continued testing of iOS 27.
