Google expands Gemini Spark access to paid users
Google is expanding Gemini Spark access to AI Pro users in the US and Ultra subscribers globally, excluding several regions and all free users.

Google is expanding access to Gemini Spark, its agentic AI assistant announced at this year’s I/O developer conference. The rollout reaches more paying subscribers, but free users are still excluded.

In the US, Spark is now rolling out to everyone subscribed to Google AI Pro, which costs $20 per month. Google AI Ultra subscribers worldwide will also get access, although the expansion excludes users in the European Economic Area, Switzerland, the UK and Nigeria. Ultra subscriptions cost between $100 and $200 per month.
Users gaining access should check whether Spark supports their local language. The assistant is powered by Gemini 3.5 and integrated with Google’s Workspace apps. On a computer, users can open the Spark page from the sidebar; on mobile, they can find it under the menu and type in tasks for the assistant to complete.
