Apple Invites adds emoji reactions and confetti animations, giving hosts and guests new ways to respond to event invitations.

Apple Invites has received its second update this summer, adding two features designed to make host-and-guest interactions more engaging.
Hosts and guests can now respond to replies with emoji reactions, allowing participants to share excitement as an event’s guest list takes shape. Apple has also added a confetti animation that plays when someone responds to an invitation.
Apple Invites is a digital event-planning app for iCloud+ subscribers, available on iPhone and iPad. Creating an invitation requires iCloud+, but recipients do not need an iPhone or a paid iCloud account to respond.
The update follows June’s release, which introduced cohosting, public guest lists, and new backgrounds. An earlier update added Apple Invites' first iMessage app, bringing the service into existing conversations. The iPhone app is available through the App Store.
