Yandex Music has launched My Wave for Two, a shared recommendation feed that combines the listening preferences of two users. The feature is available to Yandex Plus subscribers and suggests tracks likely to appeal to both listeners, along with potential discoveries for one of them.
The system uses the new ARGUS generative model. It creates separate selections for each participant, then combines them into a single playlist. Shared listening does not affect either user’s personal recommendations: only explicit feedback, such as likes and dislikes, is used in each individual profile, while listening history from the shared wave remains private.

To create a shared wave, users select the relevant section in the Yandex Music app and invite another user. Once connected, the playlist appears in both users' collections and can be renamed. The feature is available in Yandex Music’s mobile app, desktop version, and web interface.
