Glow reaches $1.2B valuation with AI endpoint security

Glow raises $180 million at a $1.2 billion valuation to secure AI agents, software, and developer tools on enterprise endpoints.

Glow has emerged from stealth with a $1.2 billion valuation, positioning the Palo Alto cybersecurity startup as a new contender in endpoint security for the AI era.

The company said Wednesday that it raised $180 million in an all-equity Series A round led by Sequoia Capital, Cyberstarts, Greenoaks, and Redpoint Ventures. Index Ventures, Swish Ventures, Lux Capital, Operator Collective, and Holly Ventures also participated.

Founded in 2025, Glow is one of the latest cybersecurity startups to reach unicorn status without publicly disclosing revenue metrics. Its platform monitors and controls the software, AI agents, and developer tools running on employee devices, including laptops, servers, and other connected endpoints.

Glow says specialized AI agents continuously map enterprise environments, assess risk in real time, and enforce security policies. The company’s approach reflects growing concern that generative AI is giving attackers new ways to automate phishing, develop malware, and launch more sophisticated attacks.

Those concerns intensified after Anthropic unveiled its Mythos AI model, which the company said demonstrated advanced capabilities for identifying and exploiting software vulnerabilities. Glow argues that AI is also changing what needs to be secured inside enterprise environments.

Tiger, a former Meta vice president of engineering, founded Glow with Omer Singer, previously Snowflake’s cybersecurity strategy head; Ophir Arie, formerly Claroty’s vice president of research and development; and Arnon Joseph, a former Meta engineering leader.

The leadership team also includes chief operating officer Emily Heath, a former chief information security officer at United Airlines and DocuSign. Heath served on the board of Wiz through its $32 billion acquisition by Google and was previously a partner at Cyberstarts.

Customers, technology, and competition

Glow said it already has paying customers in healthcare, retail, and financial services, but declined to provide customer names or counts. Tiger said typical deployments cover tens of thousands of employee devices across global organizations.

The platform uses models from Anthropic and Google Gemini through Amazon Bedrock. Glow is building its own software to supply those models with enterprise context and improve their reliability for security tasks.

According to Tiger, Glow has already:

  • Prevented malicious npm packages from being installed in customer environments.
  • Identified AI agents attempting to pull in those third-party software components.
  • Detected devices where endpoint detection and response tools were missing or operating with reduced functionality.

Glow enters a market dominated by CrowdStrike, Microsoft, SentinelOne, and Palo Alto Networks. Tiger said conventional endpoint detection and response products primarily identify threats after they appear, while Glow aims to prevent risky software, AI agents, and developer tools from entering enterprise environments at all.

The startup employs nearly 100 people, with about 70% in Israel and the remainder in the U.S. Whether AI-native endpoint security becomes a distinct category will depend on how enterprises respond to increasingly capable AI models and the new software activity they bring to employee devices.
