Xiaomi has quietly pushed a new TV line onto its global website, and this one is built to travel: the Xiaomi TV FX Mini LED series arrives with 4K QD-Mini LED panels, Amazon’s Fire TV OS, and four sizes ranging from 43 to 75 inches. In India, sales are set to start on 4 June, though Xiaomi has not said what they will cost.

That combination says a lot about where the smart TV fight is headed. Xiaomi is leaning on Mini LED picture tech and a mainstream streaming OS instead of trying to make every TV a mini-computer, which is probably the smarter bet for buyers who mostly want a bright screen, easy app access, and fewer setup headaches.

Xiaomi TV FX Mini LED sizes and panel specs

The series comes in 43-inch, 55-inch, 65-inch, and 75-inch versions. Xiaomi says the panels use 4K QD-Mini LED technology, with a 60 Hz refresh rate, plus MEMC at 4K 60 Hz and Game Boost 120 Hz for gaming mode.

  • 43, 55, 65, and 75 inches
  • 4K QD-Mini LED panel
  • 60 Hz refresh rate
  • MEMC 4K 60 Hz
  • Game Boost 120 Hz
  • 93% DCI-P3 color coverage
  • HDR10+ and HLG support

Fire TV OS puts Alexa and streaming apps front and center

Instead of Xiaomi’s own software stack, these TVs run Fire TV OS from Amazon. That gives buyers access to Prime Video, Netflix, and YouTube, along with Alexa voice control, which is exactly the sort of convenience feature that sells TVs in crowded retail channels.

The connectivity list is fairly complete: Bluetooth 5.0, dual-band Wi-Fi, HDMI 2.1, HDMI 2.0, USB 2.0, and RJ-45. Xiaomi also adds Apple AirPlay and Miracast for wireless casting, plus stereo speakers with DTS:X and Dolby Audio support. It is a very familiar feature sheet, which is not a complaint; familiarity is often what wins in living rooms.

India launch comes first, pricing still missing

Xiaomi has only confirmed timing for India so far, where the Xiaomi TV FX Mini LED range is due to go on sale on 4 June. For the rest of the world, the company says the lineup should roll out over the coming months across different regions.

The open question is pricing. Xiaomi has a habit of using aggressive TV pricing to undercut bigger rivals, but Mini LED and QD-Mini LED panels are no longer bargain-basement territory. If Xiaomi keeps the sticker price sharp, these sets could put pressure on budget and midrange models from Samsung, LG, and TCL without having to shout about HyperOS at all.
