Samsung may reshape One UI 10 around adaptive AI

A new Samsung concept called Fluid AI Design System could shift One UI from app-based navigation to task-driven, adaptive interfaces.

Samsung is reportedly exploring a very different direction for its mobile software. According to Ice Universe, the company is studying a new interaction concept called Fluid AI Design System — described as a generative design philosophy built on artificial intelligence rather than a traditional static user interface.

Instead of showing the same fixed interface to every user, Fluid AI would dynamically generate the most suitable UI based on a person’s current task, environment, and context.

The idea is to combine information such as schedule, navigation, messages, and weather into a single adaptive interface. In theory, that would let the system reorganize itself in advance around a user’s needs, instead of forcing them to jump between separate apps.

If this design philosophy eventually makes its way into a future version of One UI, it would mark a significant shift in Samsung’s software strategy: away from an app-centric interface and toward one centered on AI and tasks. As presented by Ice Universe, that could become one of the key directions for the future evolution of One UI.
