Samsung says Amazon Music will be preinstalled on select Galaxy smartphones and tablets under a new partnership with Amazon, adding another app to the company’s already crowded software loadout.
The company did not say which models will include the app, only that it will appear on “select” devices going forward. Amazon Music is also coming to the Galaxy Store, where Galaxy device owners can claim a three-month free trial of Amazon Music Unlimited.
That offer is limited to users who have not previously subscribed to Amazon Music Unlimited. After the trial, pricing reverts to $12.99 per month, or $11.99 per month for Amazon Prime subscribers.
According to the source, the Unlimited plan includes access to Amazon Music’s catalog plus one audiobook on Audible each month.

The move expands Samsung’s use of preloaded third-party apps on its devices. The source notes that the company already ships a sizable set of preinstalled software, including on the Galaxy S26 series, where buyers are also dealing with the usual collection of Google apps found on most Android phones.
That means future Galaxy buyers will have one more app to remove or ignore, even on premium devices that can cost $900, $1,800, or more.
