Redmi K100 Pro Max benchmark falls short of claimed score

The Redmi K100 Pro Max has posted an AnTuTu score of 3.72 million points in a room-temperature test—well below the roughly 4.56 million points previously cited by Lu Weibing. The results were published by insider Digital Chat Station alongside live photos of the phone.

The device uses Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5. In Geekbench 7, it scored 2,965 points in the single-core test and 10,064 points in the multi-core test. The gap between the measured AnTuTu result and Lu Weibing’s figure was not explained.

185Hz display and gaming results

Gaming is a major focus for the phone. Redmi has equipped it with what is described as Xiaomi’s first 185Hz display, while the company’s dedicated D2 imaging chip now supports frame interpolation. That technology generates additional frames to increase perceived smoothness in compatible games.

During testing, the Redmi K100 Pro Max delivered the following results:

• PUBG Mobile, high-smoothness mode with frame generation: 183.7 frames per second at 4W.
• Delta Force: 185 frames per second at 4.9W.
• Honor of Kings: 143.8 frames per second at 3.2W.
• Annihilation Ring, maximum graphics settings: about 59.9 frames per second at 4.2W.

9,070mAh battery and launch date

The phone also packs a 9,070mAh battery. According to its developers, that capacity increases battery life by 40% compared with previous models. The headline specifications also include Bose audio, although the source provides no further details about the audio system.

The Redmi K100 Pro Max is expected to launch on August 11. Redmi has not yet provided an explanation for the difference between the early AnTuTu result and the higher score previously mentioned by Lu Weibing.
