Nothing has finally done the obvious thing: it put its phones in Best Buy stores across the US. Starting today, shoppers can walk into more than 500 locations, pick up the Phone (3), Phone (4a) Pro, Headphone (a), and Ear (3), or buy them online at BestBuy.com. For a brand built on transparent backs and flashy lighting, physical shelf space is the kind of retail validation online-only sales can’t quite fake.
This is Nothing’s largest US retail footprint so far, and it follows the company’s Best Buy Canada debut last year. The timing is tidy: Canalys data cited by the company shows US unit sales up 120% and revenue up 175% in 2025 alone. That kind of growth makes retailers pay attention, especially in a phone market where most smaller Android brands struggle to get past carrier stores and internet nerds.
What Best Buy is selling
- Phone (3)
- Phone (4a) Pro
- Headphone (a)
- Ear (3)
The bigger win here is not just distribution, but demonstration. Nothing’s hardware depends heavily on design, and design is something you usually need to see under store lights, not on a product page. That matters in the US, where Samsung and Google dominate the premium Android conversation and everyone else has to fight for attention with either price cuts or personality. Nothing is betting it can use both.
Why Nothing’s Best Buy retail push makes sense now
Nothing is based in London, was founded by Carl Pei after his OnePlus days, and says it is now present in 60 countries. Best Buy gives it a cleaner path to mainstream shoppers who want to compare a Nothing phone with a Galaxy or Pixel without ordering blind. If US demand keeps rising, this probably looks less like a pilot and more like the opening move in a much broader retail push.
The practical question is whether shoppers will use the opportunity. The brand’s look is still its sharpest selling point, but US buyers are notoriously unforgiving when a stylish phone asks for the same money as a better-known rival. Best Buy helps Nothing get noticed; the next test is whether that attention turns into actual checkout receipts.
