LG Electronics will debut its full lineup of built-in kitchen appliances at EuroCucina 2026 in Milan from April 20 to 26. The collection includes refrigerators, ovens, induction cooktops, and dishwashers equipped with AI features. All appliances are designed for seamless integration, prioritizing energy efficiency and compact form factors.

The range covers six categories. The Wide Combi refrigerator offers 384 liters of space, an inverter compressor rated energy class A, and an AI Fresh mode that boosts cooling ahead of high-usage periods. DoorCooling+ technology speeds up chilling of items stored in the door compartments.

LG’s Camera Oven features an integrated camera that identifies food and suggests cooking settings via the AI Gourmet system. No Preheat Air Cooking lets you cook without waiting for the oven to heat up first. The InstaView window lights up the camera with a knock, providing a clear view inside. The Compact Oven packs six functions-convection, air frying, steaming, and microwave heating, among others. Both ovens use Inverter ProBake technology for even heat distribution.

The Hood Integrated Induction Cooktop is a 189mm-thick induction panel that integrates a downdraft vent directly into its surface, eliminating the need for an external hood. The Full-Flex Induction Cooktop removes fixed heating zones, allowing pots and pans to be placed anywhere on the panel. The dishwasher completes LG’s cleaning cycle in one hour and combines four QuadWash Pro spray arms, Dynamic Heat Dry+ technology, and TrueSteam steam sanitization. All key models, including those aimed at mass-market segments, carry an energy efficiency rating of class A.

LG’s strategy and competitive positioning in European kitchen appliances

This launch broadens LG’s built-in appliance line in Europe beyond cooking devices. The Hood Integrated Induction Cooktop has already won the iF Design Award 2026 for its innovative design.

”Our ’Built for Your Today’ concept reflects a more balanced approach to kitchen life – addressing consumer demands for energy savings, space-efficient layouts, and everyday functionality,” said Baek Seung-tae, president of LG Home Appliance Solution Company. He emphasized that LG aims to strengthen its reputation as a premium built-in appliance brand across the European market.

Compared to Western brands like Bosch and Samsung, LG’s integration of AI-driven features and compact appliance designs positions it as a strong contender in Europe’s competitive built-in kitchen segment. The series addresses key consumer concerns such as energy efficiency and spatial constraints, which are increasingly important in European homes.

Looking ahead, it will be interesting to see how LG’s AI-powered cooking and smart integration compete with Apple HomeKit-compatible appliances and Google’s Smart Kitchen initiatives. EuroCucina 2026 could mark a turning point where AI and design innovation accelerate beyond traditional appliance updates in European kitchens.
