Passable turns contact and link sharing into customizable Apple Wallet passes. The indie app is featured in 9to5Mac’s weekly series spotlighting independent apps.
Apple’s NameDrop can share contact information quickly, but it offers limited control and is not always reliable. Passable lets users create multiple passes for different situations, such as a professional card with a work email and a personal card for social events.
Custom Wallet passes and pricing
Passable supports more than contact cards. Users can create passes for:
- Websites and portfolios
- Social media profiles and other links
- App Store listings
- TestFlight apps
Each pass can have its own color and styling. Shared passes can also be updated remotely: when a pass changes in Passable, the update is pushed to everyone who received it. Users can remotely delete shared passes as well.

The app is available for free on the App Store for iPhone, Mac, and Apple Watch. It requires iOS 18, macOS 15, or watchOS 11 and later. The free tier allows one Wallet pass per category.
Passable Gold increases that limit to 10 passes per category and adds further customization. It costs $2.99 per month, $24.99 per year, or $79.99 for lifetime access.
