Galaxy Tab S12 Ultra leak points to Dimensity 9500
Samsung’s Galaxy Tab S12 Ultra appears in Geekbench with a Dimensity 9500, 12GB of RAM and scores above the Tab S11 Ultra.

The Samsung Galaxy Tab S12 Ultra has appeared in a Geekbench leak with MediaTek’s Dimensity 9500 chip—and its early scores are higher than those of last year’s Galaxy Tab S11 Ultra. The listing identifies the tablet as SM-X946B, rather than by its retail name, but that numbering follows the previous model: the Tab S11 Ultra used SM-X936B.
Dimensity 9500 and Geekbench performance
The benchmark listing also reveals the processor layout: one performance core, three high-performance cores, and four efficiency cores. The reported frequencies—4.21 GHz for the leading core and 2.7 GHz for the efficiency cores—match the Dimensity 9500. That makes a Snapdragon variant from the latest generations appear less likely, although Samsung has not formally confirmed the tablet or its chip.
The test device scored 2,424 points in the single-core test and 8,446 points in multi-core. Those results represent a modest but visible improvement over the Galaxy Tab S11 Ultra. The leak therefore points to a meaningful hardware upgrade rather than a model refresh focused mainly on cosmetic changes.
The prototype included 12 GB of RAM, matching the entry-level configuration of the Tab S11 Ultra. If Samsung keeps its existing configuration strategy, a 16 GB version could follow in more expensive variants. The source does not provide pricing or an availability date.

Earlier rumors suggest that the Galaxy Tab S12 Ultra will retain a 14.6-inch Dynamic AMOLED 2X display, an 11,600 mAh battery, and 45W charging. The camera hardware is also expected to remain familiar:
- 13-megapixel main camera
- 8-megapixel ultrawide camera
- 12-megapixel front-facing camera
Those specifications indicate that Samsung may be keeping the existing design and feature package while updating the main platform. The source does not describe any confirmed changes to the chassis or screen.
The tablet is also linked to One UI 9 based on Android 17. If Samsung maintains its flagship software policy, the device could receive seven major Android updates and seven years of security patches. That policy remains an expectation rather than a confirmed Galaxy Tab S12 Ultra announcement, but it would give the tablet a longer software-support window than its hardware-focused Geekbench leak alone reveals.
