Claude Code can now test apps in iOS Simulator
Claude Code can now build, inspect, and test iOS apps in Apple’s Simulator through a public beta on macOS.

Anthropic has added iOS Simulator support to Claude Code for desktop, allowing the coding assistant to build, run, inspect, and test iOS apps in a public beta.
When instructed to check an app, Claude Code opens the in-progress project in the simulator pane. Claude can watch the simulator live, interact with the app, and iterate on the project while developers continue using the simulator.
The integration drives the simulator directly rather than relying on computer use. That means it does not require the macOS Accessibility or Screen Recording permissions associated with computer use. Screenshots of simulator devices are sent to Anthropic and retained according to standard conversation settings. Anthropic advises users not to sign in to real accounts on devices Claude can access.
The feature is available in Claude Code Desktop on macOS through local sessions. Xcode with the iOS platform installed is required.
