Bluehost launches AI agents for self-running websites

Bluehost has launched a set of “intelligent AI agents” designed to build, manage, and grow websites and online stores around the clock. The hosting and website-building company says users can control the agents with plain-English prompts, without technical experience.

The capabilities cover website creation, store operations, lead capture, customer questions, and appointment booking.

“Our customers aren’t developers, and they shouldn’t have to think like one. We build for the florist, the electrician, the therapist who wants a site or store that runs itself, and books appointments while they run their business.”

Bluehost’s new AI agents

Bluehost has divided the system into specialized roles:

• Bluehost AI Site Builder: An agentic website builder focused on design, SEO, and other website-building best practices.
• Bluehost AI Store: A tool for online stores that provides reports on orders, customers, inventory, payments, and sales channels.
• Bluehost AI Front Desk Agent: A 24/7 AI receptionist and sales assistant that handles missed calls and messages, answers visitor questions, and manages appointments.

Bluehost says the new features build on its four-in-one LLM pack and no-code agent creation tools. Sachin Puri, CEO of Bluehost Group and Network Solutions Group, said the company wants its AI to handle more than website creation.
