Apple has reclaimed its position as the world’s most valuable company by market capitalization, overtaking Nvidia during intraday trading on Friday. Its stock is up 17 points this week, following several days of record highs.
Apple has not yet crossed the $5 trillion market-capitalization threshold, although intraday trading has placed it around $4.944 trillion. The company’s stock has already touched a $4.9 trillion valuation.
Nvidia previously became the first company to pass the $5 trillion mark. Apple’s next milestone is reaching that threshold, after recovering from a brief decline triggered by what the source describes as unprecedented price increases for Macs, iPads, and other products amid the ongoing global RAM shortage.
