VK agrees to sell RuStore to its management
VK will sell 100% of app store RuStore to developer-company CEO Dmitry Pankrushev. The deal value was not disclosed.

VK has agreed to sell 100% of the RuStore app marketplace to Dmitry Pankrushev, the CEO of the company that develops the store.
Before joining VK, Pankrushev worked at RedMadRobot. In February 2024, VK Company LLC bought 70% of the legal entity Mnogo Prilozheniy from RedMadRobot. That company’s developers had worked with VK to build RuStore.

RuStore has become one of the key places for Android users in Russia to find essential services, while also serving as an app distribution platform for developers. According to the source, the management buyout means the store will continue to operate under the team already responsible for its development.
The RuStore team is expected to keep rolling out updates, adding new features, and supporting the platform for users, developers, and partners. The value of the deal was not disclosed.
