Suno now lets iPhone users create songs inside Messages with text or voice prompts, as long as the app is installed.

Suno is bringing song generation directly into iMessage on iPhone. Starting today, users with the Suno app installed can create songs from inside Apple’s Messages app using either text prompts or voice memos, without leaving the conversation.

The feature appears through the Messages app drawer, where Suno shows up alongside other iMessage apps. From there, users can generate a song, pick a genre, and refresh the result to try different versions before sending one in chat.

Suno is already one of the larger song-generation platforms, with more than 2 million paid subscribers and 7 million songs generated each day. Beyond its web app, the company’s iPhone app already supports creating and remixing songs from text, as well as recorded or uploaded audio and video. It also includes user collections, staff picks, and genre-based playlists.

One catch: both users need to have the app installed to use the feature as intended, according to Suno. Still, the app is available as a free download on the App Store.
