Nimble’s new Sharepower Portable Charger is different: this 10,000mAh power bank can split in half, turning one pack into two independent 5,000mAh chargers. That makes it a neat fit for travel, shared charging, or the simple human desire to stop fighting over one cable.
When the two halves are joined, the Sharepower acts as a single bank with up to 35W total output and can charge up to three devices at once. Separate them, and each side delivers up to 20W. It is not just a gimmick with magnets, either; the modular setup is the whole point, and it gives Nimble a sharper product story than the usual ”more milliamp-hours, please” approach.
How the Sharepower power bank splits up
One half includes a built-in braided USB-C cable, an extra USB-C port, and four LED battery indicators. The other half has a USB-C port, a foldable USB-C connector that plugs directly into a phone, and a digital percentage display. That combination is practical in a way many portable chargers are not: one side is built for flexible charging, the other for quick top-ups without guessing how much battery is left.

Nimble says it is the world’s first truly sharable battery, which is the sort of claim every accessory maker loves to make – but this one at least has a genuinely distinctive hardware idea behind it. For now, it is sold directly by Nimble and should appear at other retailers soon.
A smarter answer to power-bank fatigue
There is a reason modular accessories keep returning: people rarely need one giant battery all the time, but they do want options. This design borrows a little from the way wireless earbuds cases and compact chargers have been getting smarter and more travel-friendly, except here the split itself is the feature. If Nimble can keep the build quality high and the price from drifting upward, this could be the rare power bank that people actually remember to bring.
