MSI has unveiled the MPG 322UR QD-OLED X24, a 32-inch 4K gaming monitor boasting a blistering 240Hz refresh rate and upgraded specs, shortly after its China debut. This new 4K gaming monitor builds on its predecessor with brighter SDR output and improved OLED protection, positioning itself as a serious contender in high-end gaming displays.
The MPG 322UR QD-OLED X24 delivers a peak brightness of 300 nits in SDR mode-around 25% brighter than the previous MPG 322URX-while maintaining HDR highlights up to 1000 nits. It holds VESA DisplayHDR True Black 500 certification, an upgrade from the True Black 400 certification of the earlier model, and also features ClearMR 13000 technology for enhanced motion clarity.
MSI further equips the monitor with AI Care Sensor and OLED Care 3.0 technologies designed to mitigate the risk of OLED burn-in, a common concern for OLED panels during prolonged use. This makes the MPG 322UR QD-OLED X24 more reliable for gamers who demand extended sessions of high-performance visuals.

The monitor’s 4K resolution, combined with a rapid 240Hz refresh rate and an ultra-fast 0.03ms gray-to-gray response time, makes it an excellent choice for competitive and fast-paced gaming genres.
Connectivity options on the MSI MPG 322UR QD-OLED X24 include:
- 3.5mm headphone jack
- DisplayPort 2.1a (UHBR20)
- Two HDMI 2.1 ports supporting 4K at 240Hz
- Two USB Type-A ports (5 Gbps)
- One USB Type-B port
- One USB Type-C port with DisplayPort Alt Mode and up to 98W charging
Pricing for the MPG 322UR QD-OLED X24 starts at 7,999 yuan (about $1,170) in China, which is slightly less than its predecessor’s launch price of 8,499 yuan (~$1,245). MSI is likely to offer this 4K gaming monitor at competitive prices in other global markets, appealing to gamers seeking advanced specs without breaking the bank.
Compared to offerings from major players like LG and Dell, which also feature OLED panels with fast refresh rates but often come at premium prices, MSI’s new monitor strikes a balance between high-end performance and relative affordability. Its display brightness and burn-in prevention technologies are particularly relevant, considering OLED’s historical challenges in the gaming category.
As 4K 240Hz gaming monitors remain a niche but growing segment, MSI’s MPG 322UR QD-OLED X24 could push competitors to improve panel longevity and offer similar feature sets at lower prices. The key question is whether OLED’s burn-in risks can be fully addressed for gamers who demand both speed and visual fidelity in long play sessions.
