Huawei Nova 16 SE may pack an 8,500mAh battery
Huawei’s Nova 16 SE may bring an 8,500mAh battery, 1.5K OLED display, Kirin 8020 chip and 50MP camera for $300–$450.

Huawei is preparing the Nova 16 SE, the first update to its Nova SE smartphone line since the Nova 12 SE launched in 2024, according to details reported by Digital Chat Station.
Huawei Nova 16 SE specifications
The phone is expected to feature a flat LTPS OLED display with a 1.5K resolution, Huawei’s Kirin 8020 processor and an 8,500mAh battery—one of the largest capacities in its class.
Its main rear camera will reportedly use a 50-megapixel sensor, paired with a Red Maple multispectral sensor. The rear panel is said to have a gradient finish, while the overall design will resemble the recently introduced Honor Power 2.
Huawei is expected to offer the Nova 16 SE in black, white, blue and orange. Pricing is forecast at 2,000–3,000 yuan, or approximately $300–$450.

Huawei is also reportedly developing another model for its Enjoy series. Preliminary information places it above the Enjoy 90 Pro Max, with a 6.84-inch LTPS OLED display at 1.5K resolution, a Kirin 8-series processor, a 50-megapixel main camera and a battery with a record capacity of 10,000mAh.
