Amazon has discounted the Ecovacs Goat A2000 Robotic Lawn Mower to $1,498 as of July 15, down from its usual $1,999.99. That’s a savings of $501.99, or 25%.
Mashable highlights the Goat A2000 as a wire-free robot mower designed to automate lawn care much like a robot vacuum handles indoor floors. Its feature set includes HoloScope 360-degree Dual-LiDAR for automatic yard mapping, along with 2 cm positioning to help it navigate where it should and shouldn’t go.
According to the listing described by Mashable, the mower also includes built-in edge trimming for cleaner borders and a 32V platform intended to handle thicker grass. The company pitches it as a higher-end model built for tougher yard conditions, including uneven terrain.
Another practical detail: the Goat A2000 reportedly recharges back to 100% in about 50 minutes, which should reduce downtime between mowing sessions.
