Anker Innovations is retiring its Soundcore brand and replacing it with a new label, Anker Sound & Video. This change reflects a strategic shift to align the company’s audio and video products under a unified brand.
The rebranding was announced in an official press release shared on Chinese social media, revealing that account services and content will now operate under the main Anker brand umbrella.
Although Anker hasn’t explicitly stated the reasons for this rebranding, it aligns with the evolving product lineup. The Soundcore brand was primarily known for audio gear like Bluetooth speakers, headphones, and headsets but also included Nebula projectors, extending beyond a purely audio identity.
Switching to Anker Sound & Video better reflects the company’s expanded product range, which now includes both audio and video devices.
During the transition, devices branded as either Soundcore or Anker will coexist in the market. Anker assures customers that product quality and functionality will remain consistent despite the branding change.
So far, the rebranding has been formally announced only in China, but it is expected to roll out globally, consolidating Anker’s audio and video products under one clear brand.
