Anker is taking the familiar Apple travel dock and giving it a little attitude: the company’s new 35W wireless charging station can power an iPhone, Apple Watch, and AirPods at the same time, while a built-in display shows charging power and temperature in real time. It goes on sale in China on 8 June for 1199 yuan, or about $175, and the headline feature is not just the extra screen but active cooling, which is meant to keep a phone from getting too hot during wireless charging.
That combination is a neat play in a category that has been mostly about convenience, not personality. Apple users have been buying multi-device chargers for years, but most of them are variations on the same tired slab: useful, tidy, and visually anonymous. Anker seems to be betting that a readout, a bit of thermal control, and a more premium look are enough to justify a higher-end launch.
35W wireless charging with a 1.62-inch display
The dock uses a grey design and is built to charge three devices at once. In the base, Anker has placed a 1.62-inch color screen that shows the charging wattage and temperature, so users can see whether the setup is pulling its weight or merely sitting there looking efficient.
- Charging power: 35W

Active cooling and ActiveShield 5.0
The cooling system is the real differentiator here. Wireless chargers get warm fast, especially when they are trying to handle multiple gadgets at once, and heat is the enemy of both battery comfort and charging consistency. Anker says the unit also uses ActiveShield 5.0 to monitor safety during the charging process, which sounds like exactly the sort of naming convention accessory brands invent when they want reassurance to feel engineered rather than improvised.
The pricing puts it above the generic corner-store charger, but that is the point. Anker is clearly targeting buyers who want a desk or nightstand dock that does more than just avoid cable clutter, and the screen plus cooling setup may be enough to make it stand out in a crowded market of near-identical 3-in-1 chargers. The real test will be whether people care enough about live temperature readouts to pay extra for them.
