2GIS has started using data from the Gasoline Map service to answer user questions about fuel availability at gas stations. Through the built-in AI assistant, users can now check whether gasoline or diesel is available, which grades are in stock, how much they cost, and whether there are queues or active restrictions at a station.

According to the company, after the launch of Gasoline Map, fuel availability data became accessible for more than 29,000 gas stations across Russia. The service analyzes anonymized information on recent fuel purchases, along with reports from users who recently visited a station, and then generates a response that usually takes up to five seconds.
2GIS said that on July 12–14, the number of fuel-availability questions sent to its AI assistant was 50 times higher than the average level seen in previous months.
If needed, users can switch to the Gasoline Map service to find another station with fuel in stock.
