The alleged upgrades put the Pro model well ahead of the standard Xiaomi 18, which is also expected to get a 200-megapixel main camera but not the same camera stack. Xiaomi seems to be leaning harder into the same formula rivals have used for years: make the Pro feel like the real flagship, then reserve the wildest hardware for a bigger sibling that arrives later.

Earlier reports claimed the Xiaomi 18, 18 Pro, and 18 Pro Max will all have triple rear cameras, with the Pro models getting dual 200-megapixel sensors.
