Vivo’s next camera-focused flagship family is taking shape, and the big one may be bigger than expected. A new leak says the Vivo X500 series will come in three display sizes: 6.37 inches, 6.59 inches, and 6.85 inches, with the X500 Pro Max likely getting the largest panel.
If that lineup holds, Vivo is clearly slicing the family by size and ambition: the standard X500 would use a 6.59-inch screen, while the X500 Pro could go smaller at 6.37 inches and sit opposite the rumored iPhone 18 Pro. That is an unusual choice on paper, but it fits the trend toward premium compact phones that try to look serious without turning into pocket bricks.
There is also a possible X500 Ultra in the pipeline, reportedly due in the first half of 2027, and it may share the same 6.85-inch display as the Pro Max. Vivo has already mapped out the rest of the family in GSMA IMEI listings, which is usually the part where the rumor mill stops being casual and starts looking suspiciously organized.

If Vivo follows through, the Pro Max could become the obvious halo model, while the Pro takes the unusual role of the ”smaller premium” option rather than the main event.
