US-based Satechi has unveiled the ChargeView 140W Desktop Charger, a compact power hub designed for users juggling multiple gadgets. The charger features a built-in digital display that shows real-time charging speeds for each port, making it easier to manage connected devices.

The charger measures roughly 7.6 × 7.7 × 3.8 cm and weighs about 465 grams, making it sturdy yet desk-friendly. It also includes a built-in stand angled for easy device viewing.

Four USB-C ports with dynamic power distribution

The ChargeView offers four USB-C ports with the following power outputs:

  • Two ports deliver up to 140W each
  • Two additional ports supply up to 40W each

While a single port can provide the full 140W, connecting multiple devices causes the charger to share power across the ports, reducing the maximum output per connection accordingly.

Replacing multiple adapters on your desk with Satechi ChargeView

Engineered as a desktop solution, the ChargeView can replace several separate chargers, reducing cable clutter and simplifying power management. It is priced just under $100 and is already available through Satechi’s official website.

For users needing more mobility, Anker’s 737 portable battery offers similar power on the go, providing a convenient alternative for travel or remote work setups.

In a market dominated by brands like Anker and native solutions from Apple and Samsung, Satechi’s ChargeView stands out by blending high wattage with a small footprint and live charging feedback-a feature still rare in desktop chargers. With more devices requiring USB-C Power Delivery charging, such hubs could become essential on modern desks.

As charging technology advances, users will expect not just raw wattage but smarter energy management and transparency. Satechi’s ChargeView foreshadows a trend where chargers do more than just plug in – they actively inform and optimize charging performance.
