Palit has introduced the GeForce RTX 5080 Infinity 3, a new graphics card design that skips RGB lighting in favor of a three-fan cooler. The lineup includes two versions: a stock model and a mild factory-overclocked GeForce RTX 5080 Infinity 3 OC. In a market where many premium GPUs glow like a nightclub sign, this one is aiming for the opposite.

The GeForce RTX 5080 Infinity 3 OC is rated for a 2625 MHz boost clock, while the standard version is listed at 2617 MHz. Both cards ship with 16 GB of GDDR7 memory running at 30 Gbit/s per contact over a 256-bit bus.

Palit’s new launch after the Galax brand reshuffle

This is also Palit’s first new GPU launch since news that control of the Galax, KFA2, and HOF brands moved directly under Palit Group. The labels are staying put and will keep making graphics cards, but the corporate reset gives Palit extra reason to push cleaner, more tightly branded products like Infinity 3. Expect more of this no-frills approach if the company wants to keep the lineup easy to distinguish from the flashier stuff under the same roof.
