Dreame has introduced its H16 Pro Steam vacuum cleaner in Russia, combining high-temperature steam, powerful suction, and mechanical scrapers to tackle tough dirt and germs. Available from April 28, 2026, the device uses steam heated up to 200 °C, hot water up to 90 °C, and dual robotic scrapers alongside 30,000 Pa suction to clean floors and surfaces. The official price is 75,990 rubles (~$1,000), with a pre-order discount price of 69,990 rubles offered between April 17 and 27.

  • Steam heats up to 200 °C inside the heating module and exits at 99 °C, effectively neutralizing 99.9999% of microbes certified by TÜV SÜD
  • Stiff StainVenger scraper removes dried grime while flexible GapFree 2.0 scrapes along baseboards and into corners
  • Strong 30,000 Pa suction picks up dry debris and liquids in a single pass

Dual scrapers and high-heat steam effectively kill germs and scrape grime

The Dreame H16 Pro Steam’s cleaning system centers on two main technologies. First, it uses dual robotic scrapers: the rigid StainVenger blade mechanically scrapes away dried-on grime like food stains and grease, while the flexible GapFree 2.0 blade presses closely to floors and walls, reaching corners and baseboards where traditional roller brushes can’t reach.

The second key system is a dual thermal module. SaunaClean generates steam at 200 °C inside the module and releases it at up to 99 °C. TÜV SÜD certification confirms this steam kills 99.9999% of pathogens such as Staphylococcus aureus, Candida albicans, Aspergillus flavus, and the H1N1 influenza virus. Meanwhile, ThermoRinse uses hot water up to 90 °C aimed at breaking down oily and greasy stains on floors.

Strong suction power and smart cleaning automation

The vacuum delivers 30,000 Pa of suction, allowing it to pick up dust, crumbs, pet hair, and liquid messes in one pass. AutoAdapt technology analyzes dirt levels and automatically adjusts suction strength, water flow, and detergent concentration to optimize cleaning.

Ergonomics aren’t overlooked: GravityEase and GlideWheel tech ease wrist strain while maneuvering. The body folds 180°, enabling cleaning under low furniture without moving it. An integrated brushlight illuminates dark areas, and TangleCut protects the roller from hair wrap tangles.

Automatic self-cleaning cycle reduces maintenance

After cleaning, the H16 Pro Steam automatically cleans its roller. It triggers the SaunaClean steam cycle, flushes the roller with hot water through ThermoTub, then dries it with hot air up to 90 °C. This process minimizes the need for manual maintenance.

Price and availability of Dreame H16 Pro Steam vacuum

Sales begin April 28, 2026, with a retail price of 75,990 rubles. Early buyers can pre-order from April 17 to 27 on Dreame’s official website, company stores, and authorized retailers for 69,990 rubles.

In comparison to international models like the iRobot Braava Jet and Bissell SpinWave, Dreame’s H16 Pro Steam raises the bar by combining intense steam sterilization with mechanical scraping and strong suction. Steam cleaning is uncommon in Western cordless vacuums, which usually focus on suction power alone. Dreame’s integration of high-temp steam and scrapers targets bulkier, dried stains and microbial elimination, offering a more comprehensive cleaning approach.

For the Russian market, where deep cleaning and disinfection are growing priorities amid increasing health awareness, the H16 Pro Steam’s high-temperature steam and automated maintenance cycles could meet strong consumer demand. How it performs in regular use, especially regarding water tank capacity and cordless runtime, will be key factors to watch as it competes with established vacuum brands on price and convenience.
