Asus has quietly put a very cheap Bluetooth speaker on sale in China, and the Adol PO102 looks more polished than a 139 yuan device has any right to be. The Asus Adol PO102 combines IP67 dust and water protection, Bluetooth 6.0, Auracast support, and a 10-hour battery claim in a tiny 200-gram shell. That is not exactly luxury audio, but it is a tidy spec sheet for something aimed at backpacks, desks, and whatever else ends up in a bag.

The broad play here is obvious: squeeze modern connectivity and basic durability into a budget product before rivals do the same. Xiaomi has already pushed out the Sound Play speaker with Auracast and longer battery life, so Asus is not alone in treating cheap speakers like feature checklists instead of plastic boxes with a driver inside.

Asus Adol PO102 design and colors

The speaker uses a fabric grille with a non-slip silicone shell, plus an integrated strap for carrying or hanging it. Asus says it comes in Meteorite Gray, Iris Purple, and Sage Green, which is a nicer color palette than most speakers at this price manage. At 109.5 by 82.5 by 38mm, it is small enough to disappear into a bag pocket without much complaint.

For something this compact, the 6W output is sensible rather than flashy. It should be fine for personal listening or a small group, and TWS pairing gives buyers the option to link two units for stereo sound. That is increasingly the bare minimum for tiny speakers now, which says a lot about how quickly budget audio has moved on.

Battery, charging and wireless features

Asus pairs the PO102 with a 2,600mAh battery rated for up to 10 hours of playback at 50% volume. Charging happens over USB-C, with a full refill taking two to three hours. There is also a microSD card slot for offline music and a built-in microphone for calls, so it is more flexible than the average entry-level speaker that assumes your phone will do all the work.

The IP67 rating is the real selling point for anyone who treats speakers like disposable outdoor gear. Dust resistance and water immersion protection to one meter for 30 minutes should cover the usual spills, beach trips, and bathroom acoustics people pretend are ”testing conditions.”

  • Price: 139 yuan
  • Weight: 200 grams
  • Battery life: up to 10 hours
  • Charging: USB-C, two to three hours for a full charge
  • Protection: IP67

A small speaker with a crowded feature list

The only real question is whether buyers will care about specs they can barely see once the music starts. At this price, Asus is clearly betting that people want waterproofing, Bluetooth 6.0, and wireless sharing more than audiophile bragging rights. For a speaker that costs about $20, that is probably the right call.
