Anker has put a very 2026 spin on the familiar bedside charging dock: a 3-in-1 wireless charger that cools itself, shows live charging data on a touchscreen, and handles an iPhone, Apple Watch, and AirPods at the same time. The new Prime 3-in-1 Magnetic Wireless Charger is launching in China today at 10 AM for 1,199 yuan, or about $177, and it is clearly aimed at users who want one device to do the job of three without turning into a warm slab of plastic.

The pitch is simple enough. Faster wireless charging tends to make phones hotter, and heat is the enemy of consistency. Anker is leaning on TEC air-cooling to keep temperatures down, while the base also doubles as a tiny control center for charging modes and status readouts.

1.62-inch touchscreen and AnkerSense controls

The most visible upgrade is the 1.62-inch touchscreen built into the base. It can show charging power and temperature in real time, and it lets users tweak charging settings directly on the device instead of fumbling through an app every time. AnkerSense intelligent interaction tech handles the touch controls, and the shortcut list is delightfully specific: double-tap for sleep mode, press and hold for two seconds to switch off the display, hold for seven seconds to reconnect Bluetooth, and hold for 15 seconds to reset the device.

That sort of onboard control is becoming a theme among premium chargers and smart docks, especially as brands try to justify higher prices with features that feel more like gadgetry than utility. Belkin and Ugreen have both pushed into multi-device charging with their own premium stands, but Anker is betting that a screen and active cooling will make its version feel less like accessory clutter and more like a small appliance.

Charging speeds and safety features

Anker says the station supports up to 25W for compatible phones, 5W for Apple Watch models, and 5W for true wireless earbuds. Power comes in through USB-C, which is the least surprising sentence in this whole product launch, but also the right one. The charger also includes Anker’s ActiveShield 5.0 safety system, while the display and companion app both surface temperature and charging details so users can see what the dock is doing instead of guessing.

  • Dimensions: 169 x 125 x 138 mm
  • Weight: 620 grams
  • Finish: Space Gray
  • Supports charging for: iPhone, Apple Watch, and AirPods

Anker’s bet on premium desk tech

The real test is whether buyers see the touchscreen and cooling as useful or just expensive decoration. At 1,199 yuan, Anker is not selling a basic charger; it is selling a desk-friendly hub for people already deep in Apple gear and willing to pay for convenience that looks engineered rather than improvised. If the company can make the cooling genuinely improve sustained charging performance, this sort of charger could become the template for the next wave of premium multi-device stands.

For now, the bigger question is whether competitors copy the screen-first approach or stick to simpler designs and lower prices. My guess: they will do both, which is exactly how accessory markets sort themselves out.
