AMD’s Radeon RX 9070 XT and 9060 XT graphics cards nearly matched Nvidia in unit sales at Germany’s Mindfactory this June, with 3,240 AMD GPUs sold versus 3,495 from Nvidia. However, the revenue tells a different story: Radeon’s average selling price was just €591, almost half Nvidia’s hefty €1,100 average per card.

Looking at specific models, AMD’s Radeon RX 9070 XT accounted for 26.62% of total GPU sales at Mindfactory, with the RX 9060 XT close behind at 18.38%. Nvidia’s best-selling card during the same period, the GeForce RTX 5060 Ti, held a noticeably smaller share of 12.33%.

PowerColor emerged as the standout brand in the AMD lineup. Its Radeon RX 9060 XT Reaper led sales with 610 units sold, followed by the PowerColor RX 9070 XT Hellhound OC at 540 units, and the RX 9070 XT Reaper with 320 units.

Intel’s Arc lineup also showed some traction in the entry-level segment, with the Intel Arc B570 selling 35 units in June compared to Nvidia’s GeForce RTX 5050 at 20 units. Although small overall, this is a positive sign for Intel, which has struggled to gain a foothold in the discrete graphics market.

Mindfactory’s data primarily reflects Germany’s DIY PC market, where enthusiasts assemble their own rigs. It doesn’t capture the entire European GPU landscape nor OEM laptop shipments. Nvidia’s higher average selling price largely stems from premium RTX 50 series cards that routinely command prices above MSRP, according to stores monitoring spring sales. So while AMD’s Radeon RX 9000 series may lead retail sales among enthusiasts, Nvidia likely still out-earns AMD overall thanks to its top-tier offerings.

With Nvidia’s high-end supply shortages continuing, AMD’s strong retail presence in Germany suggests its RX 9000 cards could maintain momentum in the enthusiast channel, even as Nvidia’s total revenue remains higher. The ongoing competition between accessible midrange GPUs and pricier flagship models will be one to watch in the coming months.
