Cinder City is already looking less like a standard shooter and more like a hardware stress test. Big Fire Games has listed 32 GB of RAM for minimum specs and a wild 64 GB for recommended settings, alongside an RTX 2060 at the low end and an RTX 4060 plus Ryzen 7 7800X3D for the better experience.

That kind of memory demand is unusual even for a modern PC game. Unreal Engine 5 titles tend to get blamed for GPU hunger first, but this one appears to be leaning hard on system memory too, which may signal either unusually heavy streaming of assets or a developer being extremely cautious with its estimates. Either way, it is a spec sheet that will make many players stop scrolling and check their own machines.

Cinder City specs stand out on memory alone

The game’s Steam page describes it as a cinematic third-person open-world shooter set in a near-future Seoul. That setup already hints at dense environments, lots of detail, and the kind of production values that usually come with a steep hardware bill.

There is no release date yet, so for now the Cinder City system requirements are doing the talking.
