Honor has launched the Watch 6 in Europe, and the headline feature is endurance rather than flashy tricks: the smartwatch packs a 980mAh battery and, according to the company, can last up to 35 days on a single charge. For buyers, that makes it a direct answer to one of the biggest frustrations with smartwatches – another gadget that doesn’t need the charger very often.

The Honor Watch 6 succeeds the Watch 5 and is aimed at both fitness tracking and everyday wear. Sales have already started in Europe, with an introductory discount for early buyers, which is a familiar way to kick off a launch in a crowded market where Apple, Samsung, and Huawei have trained users to compare not just design, but battery life too.

Honor Watch 6 AMOLED display and AccuTrack positioning

The Watch 6 features a 1.46-inch AMOLED display with a resolution of 464 x 464 pixels, a 60Hz refresh rate, and peak brightness of up to 3,000 nits. That is more than a nice spec sheet: high brightness and a faster refresh rate make the watch easier to use outdoors and on the move, where many budget models struggle in direct sunlight.

Navigation is handled by AccuTrack, with dual-band GPS and support for all major global navigation systems. For a smartwatch in this class, that is close to the expected baseline, but Honor clearly wants the Watch 6 to feel more like a serious wearable than a larger fitness band.

Honor Watch 6 fitness and health features

The watch supports more than 120 workout modes and adds specialized metrics for selected activities. For trail running, it can show elevation gain, distance, and route deviation, while badminton and football get shot speed analysis, rally counting, and heat maps.

For health tracking, Honor uses its IntelliSense system with improved optical sensor accuracy for 24/7 heart-rate monitoring, SpO2, stress, and sleep tracking. Users will also get quick health reports and morning summaries from the previous day – a small but useful touch that saves time better than any flashy smart display.

Honor Watch 6 price in Europe

The body is made from an aluminum alloy with a texture that resembles titanium, and the watch weighs 41 grams with a thickness of 10.8 mm. It also includes NFC and IP69 dust and water resistance, a fairly rare combination for a device that is clearly trying to look as good on the wrist as it does on a workout track.

  • Launch price: from €250
  • Introductory price for the first month: from €170

If Honor can hold that promotional price, the Watch 6 could compete well among affordable smartwatches with long battery life. If not, rivals with more established ecosystems will quickly remind buyers that a big battery alone is not enough.
