OnePlus has quietly added a new flagship tablet to its lineup, and the OnePlus Pad 3 Pro launches in China with Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5, a 13.2-inch display, and a battery big enough to make most laptops feel underfed. The catch is familiar and mildly annoying: for now, this one looks like a China-only release, even as OnePlus keeps other markets waiting on a clearer tablet strategy.

That split matters because the hardware is already strong enough to compete with the best Android slates from Samsung and Xiaomi, at least on paper. OnePlus also appears to be leaning harder into productivity here, adding desktop-style office tools, cross-device sharing, and AI features rather than just chasing peak benchmark bragging rights.

OnePlus Pad 3 Pro specs and display

The tablet uses a 13.2-inch LCD panel with a 7:5 aspect ratio, 3392 x 2400 resolution, and a 30Hz to 144Hz refresh range. Peak brightness tops out at 1,000 nits, and OnePlus says the panel covers 98 percent of the DCI-P3 color gamut. That’s the kind of display spec list that aims straight at media consumption, split-screen work, and the occasional ”I swear I’m being productive” scroll session.

Inside, the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 is paired with up to 16GB of LPDDR5X RAM and up to 512GB of UFS 4.1 storage. ColorOS 16 comes preinstalled, along with PC-level WPS Office, file management tools, cross-device screen sharing, keyboard and mouse sharing, and AI tools for note-taking, translation, and content creation.

Battery, cameras and extras

OnePlus kept the camera setup straightforward: a 13-megapixel rear camera and an 8-megapixel front camera for photos and video calls. The bigger story is the 13,380mAh battery, which supports 67W fast charging and should help the tablet survive long work sessions without becoming a wall-hugger by lunchtime.

  • Wi-Fi 7
  • Bluetooth 5.4
  • USB 3.2 Gen 1
  • Eight speakers
  • Dual microphones
  • Face unlock support
  • Stylus support

It also keeps the chassis slim at 5.94mm, with a weight of approximately 675 grams. That makes it lighter than a lot of keyboard-equipped tablet setups, though not exactly featherweight if you’re planning to hold it one-handed for an entire movie.

OnePlus Pad 3 Pro price in China

  • 12GB + 256GB: 4,399 Yuan
  • 12GB + 512GB: 4,899 Yuan
  • 16GB + 512GB: 5,399 Yuan

The Pad 3 Pro comes in Dark Brown and Light Green. That pricing puts it in flagship territory, but the real limitation is geography. OnePlus says the Pad 3 Pro is aimed at China, while the globally branded OnePlus Pad 4 has so far launched only in India. In other words, OnePlus has a very capable tablet family – and a very uneven rollout plan.
